In honor of Memorial Day

If you are looking for some patriotic images, here are some that would make great iron on shirts, paint stencils, banners, signs, etc. I'll be marching in our local Memorial Day parade, maybe I'll make a shirt for me!!! (to save on of these, right click on it and then click on "save" or"save as")

Alien Party

My son had an alien birthday party. I made the shirts for all of the boys and I also made the banner on the tree. The shirts were made from the black flocked iron on vinyl - they were a big hit!

Here is the alien head if you want to cut it too.

Bug Head Candy

I made bug head candy - is this the cutest thing ever. I used the melting chocolate, but I'm going to make soaps next. For the white accent on the face I used royal icing and a toothpick for the small detail. I can see this adorable Cricket bug head everywhere! These molds are suitable for chocolate, plaster, or soap. These would be fantastic favors for swarms, parties, girls night, crafting get togethers, etc. You could make plaster Christmas ornaments, refrigerator magnets, and even lapel pins. Oh my...my head is spinning!
I am taking pre orders for these molds. Each order gets 2 molds (total of 10 receptacles) and 10 pop sticks. Can't get the melting chocolate, just melt a Hershey bar and you are good to go! I definitely think 2 molds are a good idea if you are going to use 1 for food (chocolate) and one for soap or plaster. The total is $12.00 which includes shipping to USA, package insurance is $2.50 extra. I take Paypal or money order. If you are interested in purchasing one or more sets, please email me at Leslie.crafter@verizon.net. Once I get enough orders, I will send you payment and shipping information. Can't wait to see what you are going to do with these!

This mold tray is 8 inches x 10 1/4 inches.

•The size of the Chocolate the mold tray makes is approx 2 inches round.
•The molds are suitable for chocolate, soap and plaster.
•The molds are FDA approved.

This is a top quality, tough plastic mold made by one of the leading manufacturers of candy and soap molds in the United States. It is durable and reusable.
Made of clear, environmentally friendly PETG plastic.
Not for use with hard candy. Cannot be washed in dishwasher.

My Mother's Day present...

This is the super sweet Mother's Day present my son gave me. They painted and glazed standard white tiles in art class- it's a bird...can't you tell. Anyway the tile was so lovely, but what was more exciting was the back of the tile. It had an easel back on it. It just really excited me because I had just never though of that. It's a great way to finish the tile and it can be hung or you can use the easel back. I'm sure I can find them on the internet or at Michael's.

In honor of Mother's Day

I think these victorian ladies are just gorgeous and would be beautiful cut in vinyl or paper. They would make a beautiful card set or in a floating frame. Enjoy. To have these images, just right click on the one you want and click save.

Checkbook covers

I fashioned up a new checkbook cover for me and my friends wanted them too. The insert of the checkbook cover is just patterned scrapbook paper, then I put a vinyl cut on the outside of the clear vinyl cover. I like it on the outside, it gives it a little depth. Do you like this project? then leave a comment here and I will give away 10 clear checkbook covers for you to add your own special touch to. I will give away 2 each to 5 winners. Good luck! (Check back on Monday for the winners)

It's just a Mason Jar

Mason Jars are so versatile, and just scream to be decorated. I just used up some vinyl scraps and put dragonflies and dots on this one. You can use it as a candy jar, candle holder, or vase. It's completely washable.

I thought I would make one that says "Thanks a bunch" and put fresh cut flowers in it.

You could also monogram or initial it...so many possibilities.
I got the plain jars at A.C. Moore for .99.

Love all the Siser colors

I love all the new Siser Easy Weed colors at H&H Sign Supply. A great selection for all your iron on stuff!! The link to H&H is on the right of this blog "A Fabulous Site for Vinyl". I recently got the apple green - I'm thinking an Earth Day t-shirt!
