Valentine's Plate

I did this plate last year, but just took it out for my Valentine's goodies. Made with a simple Dollar Store Plate and the permanent vinyl. The font is Hole Hearted.

I have a french themed livingroom and loved this graphic. I just translated "bicycle for two" into French. In the frame I put wallpaper from a sample book. I like using those samples because they are big enough to put into the back of the frame. It is close in style to the wallpaper I have on the wall. (click on photo for a better view)

Just a quick project

I made this cake carrier for my friends charity event. She is going to make a cake for it and raffle it off. The bow is just decoration. (I got the cake carrier at the Christmas Tree Shop for only $4.00) it's really big and super sturdy!

New Fireplace Design for Valentine's

Here is a new design for my fireplace. I used the mactac 8900 (wall vinyl) in a beige color. The heart cut (svg) is in the right hand column of files to share.

Have SCAL2? Trace any image with these easy steps...really it's easy!

Images with little detail work the best - images in silhouette form, just black on white.

1. download a picture on your computer - usually if you see an image you can right click right on top of the image with your mouse, and then choose "save" or "save as" rename it if necessary - you can find images on blogs (my blog here too), websites, all over. Put it in a folder on your computer where you can remember. The image should be in the form of a .jpg or .bmp. I have a separate folder for scal files (and then I categorize my images by category)...

2. open scal 2 (this only works in scal2, don't have scal2? click on the link below to get it...)

3. click on the tree symbol (looks like an apple tree) a the top of the screen

4. it will bring up a search box, now find the file you saved, by clicking BROWSE.

5. once you click it and click OK , it will appear right on the scal screen, you can size and change it as needed.
