A place to BE HAPPY!...: ALOHA shirt

Here is my latest project made with iron on vinyl. I used brown Siser Easy Weed vinyl. I love the pink and brown combo on this shirt. The graphic is here. (If you want to use it, just right click on it and click save or save as. Once it is on your computer, you can import it into SCAL.)

Images with little detail work the best - images in silhouette form, just black on white.

1. download a picture on your computer - usually if you see an image you can right click right on top of the image with your mouse, and then choose "save" or "save as" rename it if necessary - you can find images on blogs (my blog here too), websites, all over. Put it in a folder on your computer where you can remember. The image should be in the form of a .jpg or .bmp. I have a separate folder for scal files (and then I categorize my images by category)...

2. open scal 2 (this only works in scal2, don't have scal2? click on the link below to get it...)

3. click on the tree symbol (looks like an apple tree) a the top of the screen

4. it will bring up a search box, now find the file you saved, by clicking BROWSE.

5. once you click it and click OK , it will appear right on the scal screen, you can size and change it as needed.
