HOW TO RE-STICK YOUR CUTTING MAT...

This is what I use to make my Cricut mats sticky again....It works great.

cardmkrLeslie said...: I don't wash off my mat. I just take off any obvious pieces of lint, and then use this glue stick right on the mat, just back and forth in a single layer. allow it to dry about 30 seconds before using it.; May 29, 2011 at 10:32 AM

Have SCAL2? Trace any image with these easy steps...really it's easy!

Images with little detail work the best - images in silhouette form, just black on white.

1. download a picture on your computer - usually if you see an image you can right click right on top of the image with your mouse, and then choose "save" or "save as" rename it if necessary - you can find images on blogs (my blog here too), websites, all over. Put it in a folder on your computer where you can remember. The image should be in the form of a .jpg or .bmp. I have a separate folder for scal files (and then I categorize my images by category)...

2. open scal 2 (this only works in scal2, don't have scal2? click on the link below to get it...)

3. click on the tree symbol (looks like an apple tree) a the top of the screen

4. it will bring up a search box, now find the file you saved, by clicking BROWSE.

5. once you click it and click OK , it will appear right on the scal screen, you can size and change it as needed.
