A place to BE HAPPY!...: Another place to put that vinyl...

I was on vacation and in the car for 15 hours. I got to see lots of cars and thought, boy all of these car carriers really need to be decorated with vinyl. Nothing is safe from vinyl...This is not my car or carrier, but a rendition of what it could look like...

Have SCAL2? Trace any image with these easy steps...really it's easy!

Images with little detail work the best - images in silhouette form, just black on white.

1. download a picture on your computer - usually if you see an image you can right click right on top of the image with your mouse, and then choose "save" or "save as" rename it if necessary - you can find images on blogs (my blog here too), websites, all over. Put it in a folder on your computer where you can remember. The image should be in the form of a .jpg or .bmp. I have a separate folder for scal files (and then I categorize my images by category)...

2. open scal 2 (this only works in scal2, don't have scal2? click on the link below to get it...)

3. click on the tree symbol (looks like an apple tree) a the top of the screen

4. it will bring up a search box, now find the file you saved, by clicking BROWSE.

5. once you click it and click OK , it will appear right on the scal screen, you can size and change it as needed.
