Graphics Collection

I got an email from CnC sign supply. They have a free set of 900+ graphics. No purchase necessary, just a free download. I got the set, no problems, no viruses, no spam.

Precious Memories Scrapbooking & More said...: WOW! Some of those vectors are very detailed, will they cut on the cricut easily or do you have to be careful to choose the right ones? Just curious, can you respond in a comment on my blog... I always forget where I leave me questions or forget to go back and get my answers. Hope it;s not to much trouble. I was wondering if it would stick since the surface is not as smooth. I would like to try to maybe decorate the walls in out basement somehow & I was wondering if vinyl could be an option. Have SCAL2? Trace any image with these easy steps...really it's easy!

Images with little detail work the best - images in silhouette form, just black on white.

1. download a picture on your computer - usually if you see an image you can right click right on top of the image with your mouse, and then choose "save" or "save as" rename it if necessary - you can find images on blogs (my blog here too), websites, all over. Put it in a folder on your computer where you can remember. The image should be in the form of a .jpg or .bmp. I have a separate folder for scal files (and then I categorize my images by category)...

2. open scal 2 (this only works in scal2, don't have scal2? click on the link below to get it...)

3. click on the tree symbol (looks like an apple tree) a the top of the screen

4. it will bring up a search box, now find the file you saved, by clicking BROWSE.

5. once you click it and click OK , it will appear right on the scal screen, you can size and change it as needed.
