I crafted up a Christmas Countdown on my fireplace. I have the numbers 1-25, so on Dec. 1st, we take off the number 1 and so on. I put little tabs made of a clear transparency behind each ball, so they would be easy to peel off. The font is Weehah, and I made the number balls with a font called Combinumerals. I didn't have burgundy wall vinyl, but since I placed the burgundy on top of the white, which is wall vinyl, it never touches the paint, so no worries. (click on picture for a better view)
I love this idea. I have a fireplace, but no mantle (just brick). Maybe I can paint a board red and attach it to the fireplace somehow.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea. It look amazing.
ReplyDeleteVery Nice, What a great idea! - my little guys keep asking me how many days til Christmas and I have a big brick fireplace - I may have to try this. Just not sure how I will get them to stick to the brick but I'll think of something! Thanks for sharing.
