An extra 12 inches...

Guess what Baby Bug owners, you can double the size of your mat to 6 x 24. Here's how. Thanks to KutnPrint from the MB for inspiration here.

I took 2 old 6x12 mats. Cut the leader green inch off one side of each mat and then tape them together with clear packing tape. Make sure the mats do not overlap, they should just snugly but up against each other.

Oh yeah, this only works in SCAL - change your mat size to 12 x 24 in SCAL, but you only use the top 6x24 inches on the screen when you design. Then just cut as normal.

Here are pictures of my altered mat and the vinyl I cut on it!

  5. This is so funny because I had already done this.. I said to myself well the big mats are 12 x24 so why couldn't I just take 2 of them and join them.. Too funny... I own the Cricut Expression...
